Grateful

Anytime is a good time to gather with family and friends. And Thanksgiving, particularly in its secular designation, is a wonderful time for everyone to gather and do something that we all could do more of every day… express our gratitude and appreciation to those who make our lives more joyful, more beautiful, and just BETTER...

Thanksgiving inevitably conjures up the idea of home – ideally, a safe and comfortable place where people find respite with loved ones from the demands of the world. These past 2 years especially, given the pandemic and all that goes with it, have made the simple idea of home and Thanksgiving that much more meaningful.

At Eleven Interiors we’re grateful for so many things … from the collaborative, creative group of talented designers who make up our team, to the passionately detailed industry collaborators who execute our vision to the trusting clients who allow us to transform their homes to enhance their living environments. We’ve all been spending more time at home, and we realize that we need more from it in myriad new ways…. full-time office space, school space, a private recreation, and exercise space. Our client's passion for design drove so many of our projects to new heights, pushing boundaries and stepping out of established norms. The home had new meaning and our design philosophy and approach followed suit.

Through all these changes and realizations, however, the one thing that remains constant is that the heart of the home continues to be the kitchen and dining areas where our clients gather for meals and lively discussion. We’ve selected some of our favorite dining rooms and eating areas that our clients allowed us the privilege to create over the years. Big or small, bright or neutral, traditional or modern, where our clients share a meal is still one of our favorite spaces to design.

We hope this Thanksgiving you continue to find comfort in the place where you gather to break bread with family and friends and that your home will forever be your sanctuary.
