Employee Spotlight - Kerry Hayes, Business Development Manager
Kerry started on her professional journey in a very different world from interior design. After graduating from Boston College with a Political Science degree, she was looking toward law school as the next step. Sidestepping a bit, Kerry “filled in” for her sister at their family’s insurance agency which then led to a different career path. She along with her 3 sisters ran the family business for over 20 years. Looking to make a change & completely shift worlds, Kerry joined Eleven Interiors in 2012 as Project Coordinator. Having owned & managed a business already, Kerry had the skill set needed to organize, assist & execute projects as well as handle client relations. She now has taken on the role of Business Development Manager where she oversees business & marketing efforts from coordinating industry events, sponsorship & charitable opportunities, social media outreach & support to the design team.

Talk about a project that you love/loved working on and why.
We completed a development project in East Boston & from the very beginning to the end, it was exciting to see the vision by Michael & the Eleven Interiors team and the transformation is incredible-it’s a real beauty!
Best part of working on a team?
I’m a team person/player-always willing to help out, jump in, assist-it’s how I’m wired & I truly enjoy working with & supporting others.
Little known fun fact about you.
I am certified in scuba diving
Dog or cat?
Dogs definitely! As Christina noted in her spotlight, I too have a special place for chocolate labs-the best of all being my #1 boy Mac.
Beach or mountains?
I am a beach girl all the way-give me a chair & I’ll sit & sit & sit & sit…there’s nothing like a good sunset!
